Only Choice (ONCH) is a Sydney based record label, predominantly releasing music on lathe cut vinyl. The label features Australian & New Zealand artists exclusively, with the entire production chain being performed in Australia (Vinyl cutting, masterings, design etc). In addition to this, Only Choice has a free release stream that can be accessed through soundcloud and bandcamp, featuring artists that have and will release through the label.

Our logo, merch design and visual design is the work of Logan from Good Hands Sign Co. Logan hand paints signs around Sydney, his hands on approach was purfectly suited to Only Choice.

Lathe Cut Vinyl

Lathe cutting is the the process of cutting music to vinyl in realtime using a special cutting lathe system. These systems have recently become more affordable and have quickly risen in populary, partially due to the increase in vinyl demand and a general decrease in vinyl production plants. Lathe cut studios offer an alternative production chain to major pressing plants and provide a more viable way for artists to get their music onto vinyl.
